- A winter storm will begin our work week in Minnesota. Especially
for residents of west-central into southern Minnesota. A slow
moving low pressure system will take its time to move through the
region Sunday into Tuesday.
This slow moving system will allow
light to moderate snowfall to accumulate over the next two days.
The latest forecasts show that the heaviest of the snows will fall
from northwestern Minnesota through Minnesota River Valley. This
area could see in excess of 10". While across the rest of central
Minnesota a good solid 6" seems reasonable.
Northern Minnesota will see much
less. Only about 1 to 4 inches is expected across the Northland
counties of Minnesota.
Winter storm warnings have been
placed for areas of northwestern Minnesota into southern Minnesota
through Tuesday. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
